The Accommodation
You’ll be staying at a Veranda High Resort, a five star resort just outside the city of Chiang Mai and away from the hustle and bustle. Framed by wild rice and tea terraces and a beautiful infinity pool at this serene hilltop, the rooms draw directly on Northern Thai craft traditions while offering luxury amenities.
Outside of The Knit Retreat, the resort offers different activities, including morning alms, bike tours, yoga classes, muay thai classes, cooking classes and signature spa treatments. Spend your free time enjoying all that the resort has to offer.
The Rooms
The resort's rooms each have private balconies, rain showers, and views across the mountains, gardens, and rice and tea terraces below. Rooms draw on northern Thai cultural heritage and contemporary design, king or twin beds, open-plan bathrooms, spacious balconies with lounge chairs, and Thann amenities throughout.
Every morning starts with breakfast beside the infinity pool overlooking the valley, and the resort's two restaurants, Veranda Spa, and hilltop grounds are yours to enjoy whenever. The resort sits just outside the city, removed from the noise but close enough to everything Chiang Mai has to offer. It is the kind of place that makes you want to stay longer.
Eateries & Knitting
Enjoy a full breakfast every morning, whether you choose to dine indoors or al fresco with views of the infinity pool and the valleys beyond. All lunches are included. Bring your WIP, order your lunch with the resort staff, and enjoy a lunch and knit with the group. Re-gather with the group in the evening for a fully catered dinner and drinks. On-site chefs specialise in both Thai and Western cuisines. Settle in for the night at Knit Night, including teas, hot chocolate and a selection of traditional Thai desserts.

We’re able to keep our prices lower than many comparable trips for a few key reasons.
The Knit Retreat is independently organised, which means no big tour company margins, and we work directly with our hotel partners and local artisans in Chiang Mai.
That lets us invest in quality accommodation, food and experiences rather than layers of middlemen.
We also keep the focus on community and craft rather than a packed schedule of costly add‑ons, so you’re paying for a thoughtfully curated retreat, not a mark‑up.
-
The Knit Retreat is an open community - whether you are coming solo or with a bestie! If you choose the Shared Double Room option, you’ll be charged $4,600 for two people, and you’ll be able to share a room with a double bed each instead of one king bed.
-
Don’t book your flights just yet! We’ll go ahead and let you know once the minimum number of participants have been reached and your card will be charged. This will be around June, giving you more than enough time to snag flights.
